☆For electric radiators, disconnect the electrical wiring.
☆Remove the radiator fan shroud.
☆Remove the old fan. Use a wrench and/or ratchet and socket set to remove the bolts or disassemble the fan clutch and fan assembly.
☆Replace the radiator fan. Insert the new fan into the space where the old radiator fan was previously installed.
☆Reattach the electrical wires and check.

What Does the Fan Assembly Do
The fan assembly in a car is an important component of the cooling system and is responsible for helping to regulate the engine’s temperature. Specifically, it draws air through the radiator to dissipate the heat generated by the engine.
A typical fan assembly includes a fan motor, fan blade, and a shroud that helps direct airflow through the radiator. The fan motor is usually controlled by a relay or thermostat, which turns the fan on and off as needed to maintain the engine’s optimal temperature.
In some vehicles, the fan assembly may include two fans: one electric fan and one mechanical fan. The electric fan is generally controlled by the engine’s computer, while the mechanical fan is driven by a belt connected to the engine.
If the fan assembly is not working properly, it can cause the engine to overheat—potentially leading to serious engine damage if not addressed. Signs of a failing fan assembly include reduced cooling performance, unusual noises or vibrations from the engine compartment, and an increase in engine temperature or warning lights on the dashboard.
If you suspect a problem with your car’s fan assembly, it’s important to have it inspected and repaired by a qualified mechanic as soon as possible.
